How to choose the photo and the size
- Measure your wall. As a guide, a piece usually looks right at about two-thirds of the width of the furniture below it.
- Think about viewing distance. If you'll see it from across the room, go bigger and choose a photo with a clear face or figure.
- Look for color or contrast. Colorful dresses, sunsets and portraits on dark backgrounds look especially good in acrylic.
- Landscape or portrait. Let the space decide: a wide wall calls for landscape, a narrow one for portrait.
