The Gulf Coast delivers warm sunsets over the water. We choose the time within the slots the museum allows.
- Late afternoon: golden light on the facade and bay.
- Morning: soft, even light in the courtyard and rose garden.
- Season: November to April is usually drier and cooler; in summer we plan around afternoon storms.

The architecture is highly ornate, so solid colors and fabrics with movement look best.
