The best light at Tree Tops Park
The oaks give soft shade and the lake opens up the sky, so we aim for late afternoon to use both. Timing depends on park rules and, for horse sessions, on the handler.
- Late afternoon: golden backlight through the branches.
- Morning: cooler air, ideal for kids and for horses.
- Season: November to April is usually cooler and drier; in summer we avoid the hottest hours.
What to wear at Tree Tops Park
Warm tones and fabrics with movement shine among oaks and earth. If there's a horse, we plan wardrobe with safety in mind too.
- Flowing dresses in ivory, burgundy, mustard, dusty rose or blue.
- With a horse: skirts that don't drag, plus boots or closed-toe shoes.
- For families: denim, linen and coordinated earth tones.
