The best light at Convoy Point
The bay faces east, so sunrise is the big moment. The exact time depends on what the park allows; we plan it with you when you book.
- Sunrise: pastel skies and the sun rising over the water.
- Late afternoon: warm side light on the mangroves and calmer water.
- Season: November to April is cooler and drier; May to October brings heat, afternoon storms and lots of insects.
- It's a protected natural area: we stay on the paths, keep off the mangroves and watch wildlife from afar. Bring repellent, especially at dawn and dusk.

The landscape is calm and soft-toned. Light colors and fabrics with movement blend with the sunrise.
